Suzhou Projects is a small consulting company located in the beautiful city of Suzhou, China. Since its establishment in 2018, Suzhou Projects has been working on various domestic projects and providing corporate services to companies from different industries.
SP has great expertise and exceptional skills, but its weak brand and online presence failed to reflect this. Instead, their website was outdated, confusing, and lacking, causing potential clients to overlook them.
As a UX Designer for Suzhou Projects, I had the opportunity to tackle the challenge of improving the company's online presence. I noticed that their website was a bit outdated and confusing, and it didn't really capture their brand identity. This was causing them to miss out on potential clients. So, to help them out, I took on a redesign project! I worked hard to revamp their website and logo, giving them a professional and attractive brand identity to help them stand out from the crowd!
I redesigned the website to be responsive, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. I used Adobe XD and Figma to create a modern, clean, and intuitive design that is optimized for different devices and screen sizes.
I also gave the company's logo a fresh new look. My goal was to make it modern and professional, something that would stick in people's minds and stand the test of time. A strong brand identity is crucial, and a recognizable logo is a big part of that.
We based our communication over Zoom calls. At the beginning often, later 2-3 times a week. I had an active role in defining the user experience, setting goals and priorities, and input into the site architecture. Later, together with SP we collected more insights about the company to work on the new brand identity, logo, and web design.
Defining the sitemap and preparing the content architecture were priorities in order to get an idea about the page structure.
Wireframing significantly improved our website design by helping us visualize the layout, determine copy length, and identify key elements like calls-to-action and navigation menus. Testing user flows during the wireframing process also helped us ensure a user-friendly design by identifying and addressing any potential roadblocks or pain points.
The new typography and color palette add a refreshing touch to the overall look and feel of the project. The colors work really well together and complement each other beautifully. The new palette also gives the project a more modern and sophisticated vibe, making it stand out from its competitors.
The design of the previous Suzhou Projects website is not attractive, it doesn't have any relevant and clear information about the business or its products, its navigation is confusing, and the user experience is terrible. The outdated elements, poor layout, and confusing logo fail to represent the business's image effectively and may deter potential clients from engaging further.
The seamless navigation, intuitive layout, and visually appealing graphics create an immersive user experience that keeps visitors engaged and eager to explore further. The website's beautiful design not only showcases the company's brand and products but also highlights its professionalism and commitment to excellence, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who visits. Additionally, the website's user journey is strategically crafted to lead visitors toward a call to action and establish a connection with the company.
A responsive website is a game-changer for both users and the business. By adapting seamlessly to various devices and screen sizes, it provides an optimal user experience, increasing engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, with improved usability and accessibility, the website attracts more potential clients, boosts conversions, and ultimately leads to greater success for the business
Suzhou Projects' new responsive website and brand identity have brought significant benefits. The website's responsiveness enables potential clients to access services on multiple devices, improving user experience and engagement. The modern and cohesive brand identity now projects a more professional and trustworthy image, resulting in a broader audience and instilling confidence in their expertise. As a result, the company has seen an increase in website traffic, improved lead generation, and stronger brand recognition, leading to business growth and success in the competitive consulting market.
While designing Suzhou Project's responsive website, I realized the significance of providing an exceptional user experience. In order to achieve this, I learned that it is essential to invest time and effort in understanding the company, its product, and its clients to create a website that is not only visually appealing but also provides a seamless and engaging user experience.
